This is an officially sanctioned fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. A portion of the profit of this show will go directly to American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to help fund research and save lives. For more than two decades, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has united communities in the fight against this deadly disease and funded breakthrough research, provide 24/7 support for breast cancer patients, and provide access to lifesaving screenings. Today, Making Strides is the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation. Prior to the boxing, the event will feature a short concert by a local Middle School Chorus group. Winning boxers will be awarded one-of-a-kind unique belt unlike any in other shows. It will feature a 20-foot ring used by famous pros in their fights. The venue is the Carlisle Expo Center which is 3 miles off I-81 and 2.3 miles off the PA Turnpike and minutes from Harrisburg, PA. The Expo center is modern, clean and heated/AC appropriately. The Expo Center is a 30,000 square-foot A+ facility. We will cap tickets to no more than 1500 people to allow for a lot of space to move. We expect to sell this out early. This event will feature high-end catered food and non-alcoholic beverages for sale. There will be craft beer packages available for sale in advance of the event. All of this will be in compliance with USAB policy as well as state and local laws. The event website is: http://www.Colonial-Combat/FightCancer All tickets are sold online. None will be available at the door or other ticket outlets. This event will be live streamed and available all over the world but those within 60 miles will be blacked out. This is a joint project of Justin McShane, Doug Long of Long Entertainment Productions and Lo Ducote of Lo Glo Studios. All confirmed boxers and coaches must arrive by noon, no exceptions. All physicals must be completed ahead of time and uploaded to the USAB website. All passbooks for coaches and boxers must be current. Weigh-ins will be at 12pm sharp. A mandatory coaches and boxers meeting will take place at 1345 hours. The children’s chorus concert will begin at 1400 hours. Yolonda Rice, President of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will give a short speech on the group’s efforts and make a presentation as well. The first bout will start at 1500 hours sharp. ----------- For matchmaking, please contact Kenny Van Scoy at (570) 574-1391 For sponsorship/vendor information, please contact Lo Ducote at (717) 999-3741 (texts preferred) |
