USA Boxing

The BRONZE Level clinic is a 16 hour in-person workshop (4days each for four(4) hours; Monday - Thursday, 8am to 12pm daily. 

The USA Boxing Bronze Clinic is designed to introduce high-performance boxing concepts and practices to boxing coaches working with new, novice and/or club boxers. This is a 16-hour course (Monday - Thursday, 7am – 11am) with participants spending 85% of the time out of their seats and on the floor performing drills, exercises and role playing with their colleagues. Some topics will include:

• Importance of a dynamic warm-up
• Coordination drills
• Introduction to the universal boxer
• Teaching lessons using EDIP
• Basic offenses and defenses
• Three (3) stages of sparring
• How to use coach mitts
• How to work a corner 
• Introduction to the American Development Model
