PURPOSE:          To allow all registered USA Boxing athletes to compete for trophies at a one-day show

ELIGIBLE             All USA Boxing athlete members Elite, Youth, Junior, Intermediate, Bantam, Pee-Wee

PARTICIPANTS:  Novice and Open Boxers ages 8-40.

DATE&TIME:     Saturday February 11, 2023: Competition to begin at 2:00 PM Limited to 30 bouts.

LOCATION:        1131 S. Scullin Ave, Denison, TX 75020

Spectators:        Spectators will be allowed. Adults $20(12&up) Children $10 5-11 under 4(FREE)

REGISTRATION: Entries will begin January 10, 2023, at 5PM and close on Jan 28^th @ 5PM

Registrations must be emailed to: Mrios.boxingfiit@yahoo.com. Please send a competitors list or text file, NO PICTURES via text will be accepted. Age determination by February 11, 2023.  All entries will be on a first come, first served basis.

ATHLETE                             *USA Boxing competition Passbook (Valid for 2023)

DOCUMENTATION            *Physical/fit to Box Form (must be dated no earlier than Feb 1st, 2023)

REQUIRED                           *USA Boxing Passbook must have Picture, birth certificate, and current physical form in the passbook. Boxers must be registrar for                                                              current 2023 year

                 *Release to Compete with Braces (if applicable)

WEIGH INS: Saturday 8 am to 10 am.  No weight allowances.  Boxers must be on weight.  1 boxer/coach per team is allowed in the weigh-in area with their boxers.  Boxers must have updated physical, and birth certificated stapled on passbook, or. Boxers must have current 2023 registration.

PHYSICALS:  Physicals will be taken at am morning of tournament.

COACHES:  Must be registered for 2023, Membership card, Coach’s certification must be current (green level) Background screening and SafeSport. (Red Passbook) Three coaches ae allowed in the corner, boxers are allowed in the corner, on the floor.  Passbooks will be checked at the door.

EQUIPMENT:

• • • SWA LBC will provide boxing gloves.
    • All boxer’s uniforms must have a color contrasting waistband.
    • No adornment may be affixed to the trunks such as metal or plastic objects, sequins, etc. Trunks cannot have fabric that is partially attached and therefore able to flap with the movement of the boxer.  This includes “gladiator/Thai” type trunks, fringe, tassels.
    • All other items, headgear, foul-proof cups, breast protectors, form-fitted mouthpieces, Uniforms, tape and gauze, velpeau (soft stretchy cotton), sponges, spit buckets, must be Provided by the participants.
