PURPOSE
|
To allow for boxing matches for USA Boxing registered athletes, while also adhering to newly implemented safety measures.
|

|
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
|
All USA Boxing athlete members that are currently registered.
|
|
|
COMPETITION DATES & TIMES
|
Saturday, November 6, 2021, competition to begin at 12:30PM. Limited to 25 bouts. Matched bouts will be accepted by the weight according to USAB 11/17/17 Guide for Making Matches at the Local Level.

LOCATION
|

Spectators
|
Must follow rules!! Masks MUST be wore in Field of Play. Temp of less than 100.4. Receive arm band at spectators’ door. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS.
Signage will be up instructing athletes, coaches and officials where to enter.
Entrance and Exit will be separate doors.
Everyone must agree to Safe from Harm, and be free of Covid-19 symptoms.
Adults - $15.00, Children (between 5 & 11) – $10.00, 4 and under FREE

REGISTRATION
|
Entries are open and will close when 25 bouts are reached or when Tournament
Director deems necessary. Age will be determined by November 6, 2021.
All entries will be on a first come, first served basis, starting August 12, 2021
Registration does not guarantee a matched bout.

|
ATHLETE DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
|
- USA Boxing Competition Passbook (valid for 2021)
- Physical/Fit to Box Form in book (must be dated no earlier than November 6, 2020).
- Declaration of Non-Pregnancy Form (all female athletes)
- Release to Compete with Braces (if applicable)

WEIGH INS
|
The times will be staggered to allow for safe distancing and check-in. Starting at
8AM.
|

|
PHYSICALS
|
Start at 12:30am November 6, 2021.
|
|
|
COACHES
|
Coaches must be registered for 2021 with USA Boxing and have a current Coach’s Certification (completed in the last two years), and a coaches passbook to work at any USA Boxing sanctioned tournament. Only 2 coaches are allowed to be in the corner due to Covid. Boxers are not permitted to act as a second.

|
EQUIPMENT
|
- SWA LBC #26 will provide boxing gloves.
- All boxer’s uniforms must have a color contrasting waistband.
- No adornment may be affixed to the trunks such as metal or plastic objects, sequins, etc. Trunks cannot have fabric that is partially attached and therefore able to flap with the movement of the boxer. This includes “gladiator/Thai” type trunks, fringe, and tassels.
- All other items, headgear, foul-proof cups, breast protectors, form-fitted mouthpieces, uniforms, tape and gauze, velpeau (soft stretchy cotton), sponges, spit buckets, must be provided by the participants.
