 DALLAS MASTER BOXING INVITATIONAL

                                                              (Sanction # 23-26-186653)

PURPOSE:         

To allow boxing matches for USA master boxing member athletes. To encourage safe and competitive competition that enhances value and knowledge of master amateur boxing.

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:            

All USA master boxing athlete members ages 35 and up, members that are currently registered for 2023. Boxers who are matched will be notified by Tournament Director Mindy Rios.

LOCATION:        Tmack Elite Training (inside Hidden Gym)

                             109 N Greenville Ave, Suite A

                             Allen, TX 75002

COMPETITION DATES:   Saturday August 5, 2023: competition to begin at 2:00PM. Limited to 25 bouts

Sunday August 6, 2023: competition to begin at 1:00PM. Limited to 25 bouts

              Matched bout will be accepted by the weight according to USA Boxing National Rulebook, 12/31/2021 (pg 55) USA Boxing - Features, Events, Results | Team USA Appendix F, Guild for Making Matches at the Local Level. Approximately 100 master boxers can register, all matched bout will be accepted by weight according to the new USA Boxing rules.

SPECTATORS:

Must follow rules!

Tickets will be purchased at the door.

General admission $20 for 1 day pass, $35 for 2 day pass, kids under 12 free

REGISTRATION:

Registration will open June 1^St and will close when 100 boxers are reached or when tournament director deems necessary.

Registration must be entered on a SWA Competitors List and be emailed to Mindy Rios at mrios.boxingfiit@yahoo.com. Ages 35 years old and up

All entries will be on a first come first serve basis.

Registration does not guarantee a matched bout.

ATHLETIC DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:

USA Boxing Competition Passbook (valid for 2023)

REVIEW of Physical Exam Results MASTER DIVISION BOXER (must be dated August 5, 2023 or later).

Release to Compete with Braces (if applicable)

WEIGH INS:

Saturday weigh-ins from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM.

Sunday weigh-ins start 8:00 AM until last boxer weighs in.

PHYSICALS:

Saturday August 7th at 10:00 AM

Sunday August 8^th at 10:00am

COACHES AND OFFICIALS:

Non athletes must be registered for 2023 with USA boxing and have current registration printed and attached to book. Background check required. Coaches certification (completed in the last 2 years) Is required to work any USA boxing sanctioned tournament.

EQUIPMENT:

SWA LBC 26 will provide boxing gloves

All boxers uniforms must have contrasting waistband

Nothing  may be affixed to the trunks, such as metal, plastic, sequin, etc trunks can’t have fabric that is partially attached and therefore unable to flap with the movement of boxers. This includes Muay Thai type trunks, fringe, tassel.

All other items, Mater headgear, foul proof cups, breast protectors, formfitting mouthpiece, uniforms, tape and gauze, spit buckets must be provided by the participant.

AWARDS:

First place winners to receive custom belts. Trophies for second place winners and unopposed champions.
