“WILLIE MCCOY FEST” The Boxing Art Team of Hot Springs AR, will be featured in a match on February 24, 2024 at 6:30. The boxing match will feature boxers from the Arkansas LBC Club and other clubs around the state and nearby areas. The celebration will occur at Champion Community Center, 116 W. Belding, Hot Springs, AR. 71901. This celebration will be held at Champion Community Center, 109 West Belding. Hot Springs, AR 71901. Willie McCoy fest is a celebration commemorating the legacy of the Late Captain Willie McCoy whose service to the Hot Springs community and AR exhibited a passion of commitment, dedication, and love for the youth and adults of America. Unselfishly, Captain McCoy trained boys and girls with the skill to box for over 40 years while living in Hot Springs, AR. His training has helped many adults to become productive citizens. While working in the Hot Springs Police Department, he continually modeled good character traits for life long living. February 24th marks the fifth celebration of Captain McCoy, since his passing. Arts Academy of Learning, Inc. a nonprofit organization is the sponsor of this special event. The organization was formed before Captain McCoy’s demise. The community will come together celebrating his life and legacy with exhibitions of services offered in Hot Springs and bouncy houses for youth “culminating with a powerful “Boxing Match”! “LET’S SOAR IN 24” Weigh in 12pm-2pm Physical 4pm |
