The USA Boxing Silver Coach Certification educates coaches on supporting boxers up to tournament competitions. It is a 16-hour course that requires the use of gloves and coaching mitts. The silver certification consists of three (3) phases, requiring a combined passing grade in each section:
- PREREQUISITE ONLINE ASSESSMENT
- CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
- 16-hour in-person instruction
- Review bronze warm-up
- Introduction to advanced skills
- Teaching skills
- Strategies vs. various opponents
- Introduction to periodization and seasonal planning
- How to review film for analytics
- Strength & Conditioning
- Mental tools
- Using DISC personalities in the gym
- FINAL ASSESSMENT
A current Bronzed level certification is required to register for this course.
