This is proposed as a revival of a tradition of a collegiate club boxing show, "Rivals in the Ring", that was hosted by the University of Southern California's (USC) Trojan Boxing Club for several years in the 2010s, which had a focus of a rivalry with UCLA. USC administration is willing to entertain a proposal that would allow a show on campus. There is strong participation interest from other boxing clubs of other universities/colleges such as UCLA, Michigan, U of Washington, UC Davis, Sacramento State, among others. |
