Sanctioned Event Details
A Memorial Event honoring, Hugh "Ring" Minn, a 2021 Hawaii Sports Officials Hall of Fame Inductee, who for 20 years served as chairman of ring officials for the WBC, (World Boxing Council). Minn has officiated more than 55 world title fights. When asked what traits make a successful boxing judge, Minn responds with: "Integrity, intelligence, commitment and courage." Minn passed on June 29, 2023, survived by wife Pam, son Vail, and daughter Shanti. |
