USA Boxing

The BRONZE Level clinic is a 16-hour in-person workshop (two days each for eight (8) hours; Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm daily, with a one-hour lunch). 

The USA Boxing Bronze Clinic is designed to introduce the most current high-performance boxing concepts and practices to boxing coaches. This is a 16-hour course (Saturday and Sunday 8 am – 5 pm with a one-hour lunch) with participants spending 85% of the time out of their seats and on the floor performing drills, exercises, and role-playing with their colleagues. Some topics will include:

• Importance of a dynamic warm-up
• Coordination drills
• Introduction to the universal boxer
• Teaching lessons using EDIP
• Offenses and defenses
• Three (3) stages of sparring
• Using coach mitts
• Working a corner 
• Introduction to the American Development Model
