Dodge Kaualani Ackerman was a national champion boxer at Santa Clara University who became so skilled that other collegiate fighters avoided getting into the ring with. His humble beginnings started with Kona Boxing Club at a very young age. In March of 2002, it was discovered that cancer was ravaging his rock-solid body. Relentlessly upbeat, Ackerman never stopped believing that he would win the bout for his life. He was a graduate from Santa Clara and wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a Marine Corps Infantry Officer. We honor Dodge The Great White Hope and his ohana in his hometown Kailua Kona. Lets goooooo!

Dodge Kaualani Ackerman  is a Kailua-Kona, Hawaii Club Event that is open to all divisions. USA Membership must be current.
