USA Boxing

For the past three years, Augusta Boxing Club has hosted an amateur boxing match called Fight of the Hearts. The Fight of the Hearts was created to show our youth the importance of giving than receiving.  For this match, the Augusta Boxing Club coaches and staff meet to select a non-profit that serves Richmond County, Augusta, GA. We work with that non-profit selected to find out their needs and strategize a way to help meet them.  Some request funds while others have specific items needed.  In the past, we have sponsored our Fight of the Hearts show for the American Heart Association, Project Refresh, and Kids Restart. 

 The 4^th Annual Fight of the Hearts will raise funds for the Georgia Cancer Center of Augusta University.  The amateur boxing match will be held on February 24 at the Augusta Boxing Club. Doors open at 1130 and the show starts at 1230 hrs. 

Weigh Ins will be held at 8 am at the Augusta Boxing Club, 1929 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904. For pre-match information, contact Ray at 706-394-3819.  For event information, email augustaboxingclub@yahoo.com.  Registration fee is $20.  Championship rings and/or medals will be given away.
