In celebration of the legendary boxer Joe Gans' 150th birthday, Corner Team presents the Joe Gans 150th Celebration Kickoff Event in conjunction with the 5th Annual Joe Gans Memorial Fight Night. This dual event will not only highlight the storied legacy of Joe Gans, America’s first African American world boxing champion, but also serve as a kickoff to a series of celebratory activities planned throughout the year.

The event will feature Baltimore’s elite amateur boxers, showcasing their skills in the ring while upholding the tradition and legacy of Joe Gans. The evening will combine thrilling live boxing matches with cultural and educational components aimed at honoring Gans' profound impact on the sport of boxing and his contributions to Baltimore’s rich history.
