USA Boxing

Xempower is the new electronic scoring system used at all USAB national events. The goal is to be self-reliant at national events and then to eventually use the system at the LBC levels. Training new techs is vital to accomplishing this goal.

Training will take place at the Convention Center in Room N254.

SCHEDULE

Thursday 6/12:  Arrival

Friday 6/13:  9am – 4pm Classroom Training

Saturday 6/14: 9am – 4pm Ringside Training

Sunday 6/15: 1pm – Draw and Draw Training

You may stay to work the event if you would like or leave after the conclusion of training on Sunday.

ACCOMODATIONS

Hotel - I recommend you or your LBC book your room HERE to get the best rates at the host hotel, the Westgate. You are not required to stay at the host hotel, but it is next door to the 

Convention Center, where all boxing and training will take place.

Meals – Meals will be provided during your training days.

Transportation – You or your LBC will be responsible for your transportation. The host hotel is within walking distance (next door), so there will be no need for onsite transportation if you stay there.

Please let us know your plan to attend by May 21st so we can plan for the classroom size and meals. Training will be capped at 50. Attendance notifications can be sent to MSchuller@usaboxing.org.
