Legacy Boxing Club is proud to announce the FIRST ANNUAL Battle of the Badges to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

This will mark the first time ever that an amateur Police vs Fire boxing event of this magnitude takes place on the biggest stage in New Jersey.

Legacy Boxing Club owner Yessenia Montalvo, a retired Newark Police Officer, has worked tirelessly to bring structured boxing training into the lives of law enforcement and first responders. Her mission has always been clear: to help officers stay in peak physical condition, build confidence, and learn self-defense through the discipline of boxing.

Some of the police officers participating in this historic event currently train at Legacy Boxing Club in Belleville, NJ, where they are part of a culture that emphasizes discipline, accountability, and giving back.
