FOUNDER/VISIONARY
The visionary/founder of the organization is Aviana Gillaugh (pictured above), who at the time of inception was a 13-year-old student and female boxer. This organization, and its purpose, is the realization and physical representation of her heart and soul, combined with the passion she has for the sport of boxing and what it represents to her. Aviana’s vision serves as the lens of the organization, and the guiding force driving its mission. Aviana wanted to create an organization to promote boxing and utilize it as a mentoring tool to effect positive change in individuals, the overall community, and the whole of society.
PURPOSE/MISSION
It is our goal to promote individual physical and mental well-being, while helping to create educated, responsible, upstanding, community-minded citizens who are socially engaged. In doing so, we aim to help eliminate prejudice and discrimination across multiple fronts by giving individuals purpose and promoting greater community inclusion for the poor and underprivileged, among others, while also promoting the amateur sport of boxing.
